I called early in the morning and Alexander and his team were able to make it out to handle it within an hour of my call. Entire process took MAYBE 15 minutes from start to finish once they arrived and I showed them what the extent of the damage was. I was also impressed with their commitment to making the yard around the tree look nice after they were done -- rocks that were dragged with the branches were blown back into my yard, and twigs that had scattered during the removal were raked up and carried out. 5 star experience, easily. We had several that needed trimming and two large ones that needed to come out.They came when they said they would and I enjoyed talking to the "crew". Alexander said he would be there the whole time and he was not. I felt he was the expert and told me only 5% of the tree could be trimmed this time of year. He talked about not just letting anyone trim the trees. Well, he wasn't there when they were trimming and they didn't clean up well. As a matter of fact, they didn't trim the way he said either. I asked him to come back and they did and again, no cleanup. Before I paid him I said I would like to hold back $1,000 to get the pavers (that were damaged by their work) fixed and also have his guys clean up.He kept pushing out. Next week....next week....the end of the week. Well guess what? They never came so my husband ended up spending 4 hours in the yard doing cleanup after Ivy's guys. Secondly, the pavers are still not fixed. I should have trusted my gut and held some money back because once he had the money, he never even responded to my text messages again.I was disappointed. $8,000 is a lot of money for us and I don't think my trees look that great and now my pavers are busted up.Also, I am a real estate broker and have had several clients call me for referrals....he lost more than just my business.He did fertilize my trees so there is that. Also, he dumped the wood chips by my garden and I can use those. Over all it was okay except he just didn't keep his word at the end. He was very knowledgeable about the trees I have and the process to remove them both. I have been in the landscaping and tree trimming for 20+ years and I even have a family member that owns a local landscaping company and I will and have been now referring Alex Ivy Tree Service to anyone. His whole crew is very knowledgeable with Trees and plant’s I leaned so much in 3 day’s and never realized working with other companies I was trimming trees the wrong way for 20+ years Alex I’m sorry I left for a better paying job even though you paid me good I just had to chase the money. Alex came out and spent quite a bit of time with me regarding the health and issues of the trees in question. We agreed to trimming, removal and fertilizer/insecticides. After all of these services were performed, our landscaping looks marvelous! I have asked to be on their maintenance program so won't lose any trees and to keep them healthy. Alexander was obviously very knowledgeable during the estimate process. His crew got started the next day. The two trees and three stumps are now gone from my yard, with no evidence they were ever there. The crew did a great job with the work and clean up. I plan to use Ivy Tree Service again for tree trimming and maintenance, and recommend that you do as well. Very good and professional work. read less

Alexander and Santi (spelling?) were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; to say the least, We are very impressed. Alexander took his time to give us an estimate and explain exactly what they were going to do. We had an overgrown ficus in the front yard that our neighbors were complaining about... I’m sure they’re gonna wish they hadn’t, as our newly trimmed tree is now making theirs look bad, haha. After all the work was completed Santi took the time to make sure we were happy with the work performed and explained to me how the tree was trimmed, how it should be watered and what to do in the future to maintain the tree. Overall the experience was wonderful and we look forward to doing business with them in the future; job well done and worth the money.
